Recette de granola maison nourrissant

This granola with almonds, chia seeds and pumpkin seeds is perfect for adding crunch and flavor to your yogurt, smoothies or fruit salads. You can also customize the recipe by adding dried fruits or other nuts according to your preferences.

I "pimped" the recipe by integrating MCT oil into the recipe, for its benefits, described below. You could, however, use regular coconut oil.

Ingredients :

  • 2 cups rolled oats (I buy them gluten free)
  • 1 cup oforganic raw almonds, chopped
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (I use hereMCT oil from PVL)*
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions :

  1. Preheat your oven to 300F..
  2. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, almonds, pumpkin seeds and chia seeds.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the coconut oil, maple syrup, cinnamon powder and a pinch of salt.
  4. Pour the coconut oil mixture over the oat mixture and mix well.
  5. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the granola is golden brown and crispy.
  7. Let cool completely on the baking sheet, then transfer the granola to an airtight jar.
  8. ENJOY!!!

* PVL's MCT Oil is an oil obtained from medium chain triglycerides, which are saturated fats found in coconut oil. MCTs are easily digestible and can quickly provide energy to the body. They may also help boost metabolism and promote weight loss by increasing satiety and reducing the amount of calories consumed. Additionally, MCT oil may also help improve cognition and concentration, and may benefit people with neurological conditions such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia.
