Ingredients
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove of garlic, chopped
- 1 tbsp ofolive oil
- 1 3/4 cups of PVT The Natural Brutes
- 4 cups of vegetable broth
- 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp of ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- Pepper from the mill
- 1 cup of quick-cooking oats
Preparation
- In a saucepan over medium heat, soften the onion and garlic in the oil. Add the TVP, broth, spices, and salt. Using a wooden spoon, mix well. Pepper to taste. Cover and let simmer on low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the oats. Continue cooking uncovered until the liquid is completely evaporated, about 3 minutes.
- Transfer the preparation into a loaf pan, ramekins, or other containers. Cover with plastic wrap directly on the surface of the cretons. Refrigerate for 4 hours or until the mixture is completely cooled.
Keep for 7-10 days in the refrigerator, do not freeze.
