Creton de PVT

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ofolive oil
  • 1 3/4 cups of PVT The Natural Brutes
  • 4 cups of vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp of ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • Pepper from the mill
  • 1 cup of quick-cooking oats

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, soften the onion and garlic in the oil. Add the TVP, broth, spices, and salt. Using a wooden spoon, mix well. Pepper to taste. Cover and let simmer on low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the oats. Continue cooking uncovered until the liquid is completely evaporated, about 3 minutes.
  3. Transfer the preparation into a loaf pan, ramekins, or other containers. Cover with plastic wrap directly on the surface of the cretons. Refrigerate for 4 hours or until the mixture is completely cooled.

Keep for 7-10 days in the refrigerator, do not freeze.
