Galette/Gâteau à l’avoine protéiné : la recette santé pour déjeuner ou collation

Are you looking for a healthy lunch idea or a protein-packed snack that truly supports you? This protein oat cake is the perfect solution! High in fiber, with no flour or added sugar, it is both nourishing and easy to prepare. Thanks to the addition of chocolate (or vanilla, depending on your taste) protein powder, it becomes a perfect ally to keep your energy up throughout the day.

Ingrédients (environ 8 portions)

  • 3 ripe bananas

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) natural peanut butter

  • 2 cups (200 g) of rolled oats

  • 1 tsp (5 ml) baking powder

  • ½ cup (50 g) of protein powder with chocolate (or vanilla, according to your preferences) I use the ATP Lab Supreme Beef Protein.

  • Dark chocolate chips, flavorful

  • If desired: Sliced almonds to sprinkle on top before baking for beautifully toasted almonds

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 °F (180 °C).

  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas, then add the eggs and peanut butter. Mix well.

  3. Incorporate the oats, baking powder, and protein powder. Mix until you get a smooth batter.

  4. Ajouter les pépites de chocolat et mélanger légèrement.

  5. Pour the mixture into an 8" x 8" pan lined with parchment paper.

  6. Bake in the oven for about 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  7. Let cool before cutting into portions.

Tip

  • La version au chocolate gives a richer taste, perfect for cocoa lovers.

  • With a vanilla protein, the galette is sweeter and pairs very well with fresh fruit or a drizzle of plain Greek yogurt.

Prepare it once and you'll want to make it again and again: a true must-have for your lunches and snacks!
