Who doesn't like pizza?
And who doesn't like to vary their toppings, and try new toppings?
I offer you a version different from the ones usually ordered at the local pizzeria. You can use a prepared pizza dough, a frozen dough ball, or even make your own dough.
So, here is a delicious fig and prosciutto pizza recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 pizza dough mix
- 1/2 cup of tomato sauce
- 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4-6 slices of prosciutto
- 1/4 cup of fig balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions :

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Prepare the pizza dough according to the package instructions

Spread the pizza dough on a baking sheet and cover it with tomato sauce.

Add the grated mozzarella on the tomato sauce.

Arrange the slices of prosciutto on the cheese.

Bake the pizza in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

While the pizza is baking, prepare the topping by mixing the fig balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

Once the pizza is cooked, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.

Add the fig balsamic glaze topping to the pizza.
