Choline : Long considered a B vitamin, choline was recognized in 1998 by US authorities as an essential nutrient. It is the precursor to acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that plays an important role in muscle control and memory. It is also used in the synthesis of lecithin (or phosphatidylcholine), an essential component of cell membranes and bile, which helps digest fats.
Inositol : The level of inositol in the nerves decreases with age, as well as the speed of reflexes. Considered the vitamin of old age, inositol or vitamin B7 is a real tonic for the nutrition of the nervous system and the liver. It mobilizes fats and helps prevent their accumulation. It encourages phase 2 of liver detoxification.
NAC (N-acetylcysteine) is the precursor to glutathione peroxidase, one of the most powerful antioxidants in the human body. NAC protects the liver against free radicals, drug side effects, and many other environmental toxins.
milk thistle : Milk thistle has been used for 2,000 years in Chinese and Ayurvedic
medicine to treat the liver. Its virtues are multiple: antidiabetic, anticancer, regulator of cholesterol and triglycerides, a powerful detoxifying agent, capable of regenerating liver cells, and its famous cytochrome p 450 phase 1 detoxification.
Artichoke: Artichoke reduces cholesterol levels and restores the balance between LDL and HDL; it promotes good digestion and increased elimination of toxins. It is also hepatoprotective and choleretic or cholagogue (increases bile flow).
Recommended use or purpose: contributes to healthy liver function. Hepatoprotector. Medicinal plant used to increase bile flow (choleretic).
Recommended dosage: Adults: Take one capsule three times daily with food, or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner.
Recommended duration of use: use for at least three weeks to achieve beneficial effects. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 6 months.
Warnings : consult a physician if you have liver disease, cystinuria, or are taking nitroglycerin or antibiotics or if symptoms persist or worsen after use. Consult a physician before using this product if you are pregnant or have gallstones or are breastfeeding.
Contraindications: do not use if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/sunflower/daisy family. Do not use if you have a common bile duct obstruction.
