Are you the type who likes to prepare your granola bars at home?
So we know what's there, and it's less expensive than the good bars available on the shelves.
Here's a delicious version...which I call the Wonders, because of the mix I use to make them. Everything is gluten and dairy free, and simply...delicious...
Ingredients:(for 10 granola bars)
- 1 bag of 150 g of Merveilles d'Elan organic nuts, dried fruits and dark chocolate mix (and gluten-free)
- 1 1/4 rolled oats (gluten free here, without intolerance or celiac disease, use regular rolled)
- 1/3 cup almond butter
- 1/3 cup honey (I used good oak honey , but any other honey is also good)
Instructions:
Mix the nut mixture and oats in a bowl.
In a small saucepan, heat the almond butter and honey over low-medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
Pour the almond butter and honey mixture over the oat and nut mixture, and mix until everything seems well blended.
Spread everything on parchment paper, form a square, and cut into 10 bars.
It's time to have fun!
